We now seek an experienced, energetic Human Resources Manager to join us in fostering this culture. 
The Human Resources Manager will work out of our main office in Webster Groves and provide administrative support to all locations in the O O Hospitality Group. This is a full-time, salaried position that will directly report to Ownership and the Director of Finance.
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for all HR-related functions while providing additional support to Finance. Core tasks and responsibilities for the Human Resources Manager can be summarized in the following groups:
Employee Lifecycle

  • Onboard new hires, process Form I-9 by deadline
  • Manage HRIS, process terminations and status changes, provide HRIS assistance to employees
  • Guide management on topics of internal policy, employee retention and success, and compliance
  • Respond to unemployment claims, external audits, garnishments, medical support orders, and employment verifications
  • Be a point of contact for all external agencies

Benefits Administration

  • Process all medical, dental, and vision enrollments and terminations, measuring employee eligibility
  • Oversee annual open enrollment period
  • Manage 401(k) plan and be a resource for employee inquiries
  • Ensure compliance with Affordable Care Act

Payroll

  • Work alongside Finance and Management to process biweekly payrolls
  • Ensure proper rates, withholdings, deductions, and garnishments
  • Remain current with state and federal regulations

Other

  • Office management and administration
  • Other duties as assigned

O O Hospitality seeks applicants with the following qualifications and characteristics:

  • At least 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or Restaurant General Manager
  • Experience managing an HRIS and processing payrolls is strongly preferred
  • A strong working knowledge of HR principles and state and federal regulations (FLSA, ACA, COBRA, etc.)
  • A highly organized individual with the ability to work independently
  • A mature, professional individual who comports themselves with high standards of respect, teamwork, communication, and confidentiality
  • A thoughtful, authoritative leader who can provide guidance and mentorship to management and employees
