About The Role:

The Accounts Receivable Senior Credit Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the credit and collections process and team within an organization. The primary role of the Senior Credit Manager is to ensure that the company’s credit policies and procedures are followed, and customer accounts are managed effectively to minimize risk and maximize cash flow.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Credit Manager who possesses strong AR/Credit skills, leadership, and system skills. This individual will manage our Archipelago Companies brands which include OluKai, Roark, Melin and Kaenon. They will be responsible for supervising a team of credit and collection professionals and providing support for the Sales and Finance departments.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop, initiate and maintain effective credit, collection, and cash application procedures.
  • Perform credit investigations, including SICA, Riemer credit reports to assess and determine credit worthiness and credit limits by analyzing financial statements, credit reports and payment history.
  • Direct oversight of account management and collection of select territories.
  • Risk assessment: Identify potential credit risks and take appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
  • Prepare reports and attend credit meetings to review account status and recommend corrective action.
  • Supervise AR/Credit team – cash collection goals, AR aging, bad debt and AR reserve analysis, 3rd party collection process.
  • Review all new credit applications and make credit approvals.
  • Develop skills of Credit department personnel through training and supervision.
  • Knowledge and understanding of proper accounting treatment for accounts receivable transactions and activities.
  • Other responsibilities as required.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of collection experience as B2B credit/collections manager
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong work ethic
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, while working between brands
  • Resourceful, hands-on, and able to sense urgency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and interact with others in a professional manner
  • Strong decision-making skills and Management skills
  • Industry experience
  • This is an in office position, mandatory 4 days in the office Monday to Thursday with the flexibility to work from home on Friday; this is subject to change at any time at the discretion based on organization needs.

Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is $110,000 to $130,000 plus opportunity for annual bonus; salary is based on the experience that you bring to the position.

Location: This is an in-office position, minimum of 4 days per week in office with the option to work from home 1 day per week, in Irvine, CA. This work schedule is subject to change without notice as per company guidelines.
