Olympic College (OC) is recruiting a full-time tenure-track faculty to teach ESOL courses in Transitional Studies. OC is in search of faculty members who are deeply committed to student-centered education and the promotion of an inclusive and equitable learning environment.
This position will be primarily based at our Shelton campus. As a comprehensive community college, we offer a wide range of programs, including Transitional Studies (e.g., high school diploma and GED preparation, and English for Speakers of Other Languages), academic transfer and workforce education degrees and certificates, five applied baccalaureate degrees, and community education services across our two-county region.

The successful candidate will be skilled in making data-informed decisions in their teaching practices. This role primarily involves the preparation and delivery of courses in the English for Speakers of Other Languages program.

This is a full-time faculty position contracted on an annual basis. This position will be primarily based at our Shelton campus. Placement on the faculty salary schedule will be commensurate with educational background and experience. The salary will be prorated to reflect the actual contract days remaining in the academic year. The salary listed is a range based on per month for the quarter. A collective bargaining agreement exists, and this position is covered by the Association for Higher Education (AHE). Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the department. Evening and/or weekend classes, instruction at satellite Olympic College campuses, and off-campus assignments may be a part of the instructional load.
