Sales Technician
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Conducting customer need analysis and presenting the customer with possible solutions.
- Understanding a product’s functionality and possible problems and develop methods to handle them.
- Determining the best products to meet the requirements of a customer.
- Providing technical expertise on products and / or service.
- Taking part in exhibitions, conferences, and other events to help in the sales of products and / or services.
- Train colleagues and sales personnel on basic technical aspects of a product and / or service.
- Sending technical specification to potential buyers along with the sales quote.
Requirements :
- Five (5) CSEC subjects including Mathematics and English.
- GTI Graduate, technical certificate or diploma.
- At least three (3) years’ experience in a similar role.
- Must be a team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Have good presentation skills.
- Be able to translate technical jargon so that laypeople can understand.
- Be friendly, respectable, and approachable.
