Job Title: Business Development Associate
Department: Sales / New Business Development
Reports to: Director of Sales
OMG National, a 33-year old marketing firm and five-year Inc. 5000 recipient, is seeking qualified entry-level Business Development Associates (BDA.) This is an ideal position for a current student or recent graduate who is looking to build their career and $$$ earning potential in the real world. Our BDAs are responsible for opening new business accounts primarily through online presentations and telephone follow-ups. Our primary product suite revolves around GBP, Social Media, SEO, and Paid Search management with a complementary set of standalone audio, video, and web products. BDMs will be placed in an 4-week probationary training program, and will then be placed in a vertical market and / or campaign that they are both the most successful and comfortable in. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Articulately Present: Confidently speak with prospects over the phone and through online presentations, daily. From Day 1, a BDA must be comfortable speaking with all types of prospects, from cold-calling a brand new prospect, to taking over a long-standing, decade-old account.
  • Phone Time: Second to presenting, the essential responsibility is to call both new (inbound) and pipeline lines with a heavy emphasis on call-time and contact rates. A typical BDA is expected to have at least three-hours of talk time a day to support daily work effort.
  • Effectively Close: The most important responsibility of the BDA is to close new clients weekly. This is the number one KPI, and paramount to any other metric as we have BDAs who have vast networks, BNI relationships, and professional organizations that allow them to meet monthly quotas without strong focus on any other metric.
  • Stay Organized: Use our CRM to accurately manage contacts and callbacks, ensuring that digital notes and dispositions are properly entered.
  • Manage and Market Vertical Industry (Post-Training): Build industry specific audiences, attend conventions/workshops, join Facebook groups, become engrained in the vertical industry, etc.

Qualifications

  • Two years of sales experience with Internet Marketing products and/or New Business Development -OR-
  • In lieu of this, a two-year degree in a like-minded field will be accepted.
  • Proficiency in Digital Marketing including social media and internet marketing for businesses with an emphasis on Google Business Profiles and Facebook including Google Ads and other paid search avenues.
  • Strong computer and organizational skills.
  • Solid work ethic with strong motivation to hit goals.

Work Environment
OMG National is a creative environment featuring a diverse staff. Our office is headquartered in Davie, Florida. The position is a remote position which allows you to work from home. However, during the probationary period and first 90 days the position does require availability to meet with our sales management team at our Davie office several times per month.

Hiring Process Overview: This is a full-time position with a competitive starting salary. Interested applicants should respond to this posting.
