Position summary:

This position works where needed moving and storing materials, pulling and prepping customer orders for delivery in the warehouse and/or cutting, tempering and handling glass in accordance with customer orders in production. This role requires attention to detail and ability to learn quickly.

Essential Duties and responsibilities:

• Builds wooden crates for shipping glass.
• Load and unload product safely using forklift and pallet jacks.
• Puts away products and equipment in an organized manner.
• Pick glass orders utilizing packing lists and receipts
• Inspect all products at every stage of assembly and delivery preparation.
• Safe use of power tools including; table saw, nail gun, glue gun, etc.
• Perform physical inventory daily and as needed.
• All other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or equivalent - Required
• Valid Driver's License -Required
• Experience with hand and power tools - Preferred

• Ability to work professionally with others - Required

• Constantly required to stand and /or walk for long periods of time. Frequently required to reach above shoulders, stoop, kneel and crouch.
• Constantly required to use hands to finger, handle or touch objects, tools or controls.
• Frequently gripping, cupping and clamping hand and wrist motions are required to support, carry and maneuver glass/objects to platform heights of three feet in a manner considered safe for self and others.

• Constantly lift and/or move up to 25 - 50 pounds
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 - 75 pounds
• Occasionally lift and/or move more than 75 - 100 pounds.

• Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
