Job Description

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking Food & Beverage Administrative Assistant for the beautiful new Barton Creek Resort & Spa!

To administratively assist the Food and Beverage Director and F&B managers in maintaining a well organized office operation as it effects the department.

Responsibilities
    Be visible and available on the floor to assist F&B team as needed
  • Be the face of the department demonstrating genuine hospitality
  • Process AP invoices for different vendors.
  • Maintain up to date BEO book
  • Coordinate & Attend Food and Beverage meetings and produce minutes
  • Produce and consolidate weekly management schedules for all F&B departments
  • Coordinate, set and confirm interviews/appointments
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding process and communications.
  • Coordinate and sign-up new F&B employees for serve-safe certification and other required trainings
  • Assists Director of Food & Beverage with receiving/returning phone calls.
  • Perform administrative duties to support Food & Beverage department.
  • Responsible for ordering supplies and equipment, as assigned by the Director of Food & Beverage.
  • Assists Director of Food & Beverage with creation of content for social media posts, weekly Resort Guide and email communications.
  • Assists with inputting menu items into the appropriate software and printing menus for restaurants.
  • Maintain files, schedules, and calendars for management members of the Food & Beverage Division
  • Assist in completing special projects which may include mailings, competitive surveys, menus or other assigned duties
  • Maintain policy and standard manuals; update and distribute as necessary.
  • Assist in the preparation and completion of other administrative duties such as Processing weekly payroll and provide support to all Food and Beverage departments through the Kronos system.
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Assist with Word Records to ensure appropriate hours are inputted and accounted for.
Qualifications
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Must have significant mobility of arms and hands. Must be able to bend, squat and push, pull and lift up to 25-30 pounds. Must be able to see, hear and communicate verbally in writing.
  • 2-3 years' experience with computers and various computer programs.
  • High School graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Individual must be a good listener, effective communicator, and detail oriented.
  • Individual will be expected to meet deadlines, work with little supervision and be flexible to handle interruptions.
  • Individual must be literate, have extensive verbal, mathematical and writing skills.
  • Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished, oral or diagrammatic form.
  • Must have strong, positive guest and employee relation skills.
