Duties of the Assistant Plant Accounting Manager include:

• As part of the operations group, you will lead efforts to fully evaluate product cost variance, inventory valuations, and sales costs.
• Develop and implement cost accounting methodologies.
• Plan and forecast material and production costs
• Lead fiscal year manufacturing plans and product cost projections
• Prepare and analyze month-end and annual reports
• Assist in the optimization and utilization of the ERP/MRP system
• Facilitate SOX and internal audit reviews

Requirements of the Assistant Plant Accounting Manager include:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance MBA, CMA, or CPA preferred
• Previous cost and plant accounting experience
• Strong ERP/MRP proficiency
• GAAP knowledge, specifically regarding inventory control
