Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor include :
- Oversee, mentor, and train plant associates on 2nd shift
- Achieve production target by producing quality products on a daily basis
- Strive to achieve the highest product quality possible, resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Immediately address production issues related to breakdowns, scrap, quality, process control
- Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement and six sigma events
- Ensure safety on the production floor
Requirements for the Production Supervisor include :
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar supervisory position
- Prior work experience in a high-speed / high-volume manufacturing environment
- Ability to work 2nd shift hours and overtime as needed
- Excellent leadership ability, great communication skills
- Prior lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or six sigma experience
