Our client is a global manufacturing organization that is a recognized award-winning supplier within their industry. They have experienced tremendous growth in recent years by developing new products and new technologies that are changing the dynamics of both their company and this industry. Just last year the company moved into a brand-new Engineering and R&D Center. They are looking to hire an experienced Supplier Development Manager, a position that is open due to internal promotion.
Main duties of the Supplier Development Manager include:

• Directly manage and lead a small team of Supplier Quality Engineers
• Work closely with Procurement to help identify new suppliers, negotiate terms with new suppliers, and enhance relationships with existing suppliers
• Work closely with New Product Development and Sr. Engineers to identify new components needed for new products.
• Lead purchasing efforts for new components by sourcing new suppliers
• Request and review PPAPs

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor`s degree in Engineering or Business
• Experience leading QEs or Supplier Development Engineers
• Strategic sourcing and supplier development experience
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills
