Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The incumbent must comply with all quality standards and protocols by filling out the appropriate quality check forms issued by the shift lead in the production packet if applicable. Entry Level Packaging Associate must constantly monitor the quality of their current production run. Entry Level Packaging Associate must not leave the area of his/her production line without relief; any time in which production is not properly monitored quality is at risk.

Responsible for but not limited to

• Follow directions issued by filler operator, shift lead and/or management.
• Follow the production schedule unless otherwise changed by shift lead and/or management.
• Verify the raw materials and finished goods for production runs with IFS and the filler operators.
• Assist the filler operator with changeover of the production line as needed.
• Complete all required quality check paperwork, if applicable, in a timely manner. No exceptions.
• Monitor the performance of their designated area and report any issues to the filler operator and/or shift lead immediately.
• Constantly monitor the quality of the materials and product during the production run.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by cleaning up any fluid spills immediately, keeping all walkways and workstations clear of debris, following safety guidelines, and reporting any unsafe practices or environment to the shift lead and/or management.
• Work with the filler operator, shift leaders, and/or maintenance to resolve mechanical issues that may arise during the production process.
• Responsible for but not limited to assisting with changeovers, verifying raw materials, loading raw materials, hand packing product, hand stacking product, tracking finished good count, wrapping pallets of finished goods, compiling and counting raw goods to be returned to the warehouse, building cartons for production if needed, light operation of machinery, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Education/Experience Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Time Management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
• Must be willing to work all three shifts, including weekends and or holidays as needed, in addition to overtime.

• Manufacturing: 2 years (Preferred)
