What You’ll Do:
As an Operations Manager you will develop and deliver training content across the network, and support the transition to a Distribution Center Associate (DCA) led environment. You will also drive our continuous improvement journey through the application of Lean principles to improve line fill, reduce lead time, improve quality, and reduce cost to serve.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will lead a team of Operations Specialists to deploy various improvement strategies to drive Distribution Excellence.
Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead a network of Operations Specialists across the regions.
• Determine priorities for training development and rollout.
• Create standards for training materials and knowledge testing.
• Develop content and deliver across the organization, ensuring consistency.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost reduction.
• Plan, facilitate, and execute continuous improvement events using Lean tools.
• Teach, lead, and coach individuals and cross-functional teams using Continuous Improvement tools and methodology.
• Leverage technology and automation from new and existing systems.
• Work to continuously improve processes both on the distribution center floor as well as transactional processes within multiple functions such as supply chain, purchasing and sales teams.
• Be able to travel across the North America network of DC to drive these improvements.

What You’ll Need:

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in distribution or light manufacturing.
• Demonstrated experience with taking ownership, initiation and establishment of priorities, anticipation of needs and handling of multiple tasks simultaneously.
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational and planning skills along with proven ability to take ownership and drive results.
• Experience with compiling data, generating spreadsheets and preparation / enhancement of correspondence and presentations.
• Advanced computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Concur, Internet / Intranet, E-files, Shared Drives, etc. ...).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• High level of initiative and self-motivation
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff
• Ability to network across organizations and identify resources / services / etc...
