Keep transportation equipment running efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment to meet DOT standards.
• Undertake all designated maintenance tasks Roll-off containers and trailers, including PMs, brake checks, tire replacements, drum swaps, electrical repairs, and component replacements.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and conduct maintenance on equipment, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy. Any faulty parts, components, or systems will be promptly ordered, repaired, or replaced.
• Welding and fabrication as needed.
• Test the equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Complete all necessary paperwork related to repairs, documenting parts usage and repair times.
• Follow good housekeeping standards.
• All tasks will be completed safely and efficiently, adhering to established safety protocols and regulations.
• All other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of DOT maintenance requirements.
• A clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more consistently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have welding and fabrication skills.
• Must be highly self-motivated.
• Team player dedicated to the organization.
• Class A CDL license a plus.
