Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Case Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping individuals in need and possess a diverse skill set in areas such as mentoring, crisis management, social work, and addiction counseling.
Responsibilities:
- Provide case management services to clients, including assessment, goal setting, and monitoring progress
- Conduct crisis interventions and develop safety plans when necessary
- Coordinate with external agencies and service providers to ensure clients receive comprehensive support
- Supervise and support clients in workforce development initiatives
- Offer guidance on childcare options and resources for families in need
- Utilize expertise in addiction counseling to assist clients struggling with substance abuse
- Implement strategies for effective Section 8 housing assistance
- Advocate for child welfare and ensure the well-being of vulnerable populations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience in case management, crisis intervention, and mentoring
- Strong understanding of child welfare systems and services
- Ability to supervise and support individuals in challenging situations
- Knowledge of Section 8 housing programs and resources
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
