Title : Workday Implementation Consultant HumanResource Focus

Location : 100%Remote (Madison WI)

Duration : 12 months Contract

Position Overview :

• As a Workday implementation contractor youwill play a key role in the successful implementation of WorkdayHuman Resource Management modules within our organization.
• You will collaborate with crossfunctionalteams to analyze business requirements configure the Workdayplatform to meet those requirements and ensure a smooth transitionto the new system.

Key Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gatherdocument and analyze business requirements related to HR needs.
• Configure Workday system to alignwith clientspecific HR policies processes and organizationalstructures.
• Lead testing efforts including butnot limited to; preparation and documentation of test cases as wellas managing the execution of system integration testing useracceptance testing and endtoend testing.
• Provide enduser training and support during theimplementation process.
• Develop desktopprocedures end user documentation business process maps and otherreference / training materials as needed.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate clientstakeholders on Workday functionality and bestpractices.
• Provide guidance and support toclient teams during data migration testing and deploymentphases.
• Work closely with project managers andother consultants to ensure timely delivery of project milestonesand objectives.
• Document configurationdecisions process flows and system enhancements.
• Participate in project meetings and provide regularupdates to stakeholders on project status and keymilestones.
• Troubleshoot issues and provideresolutions during implementation and postimplementation supportphases.
• Stay updated on Workday productreleases and enhancements and assess their potential impact onclient implementations.
• Contribute to thecontinuous improvement of implementation methodologies tools andtemplates.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources BusinessAdministration or related field.
• Workday HCMcertification(s) required.
• Proven experiencein implementing Workday HCM solutions with a focus on Core HRCompensation Talent Optimization is required.
• Handson experience configuring Workday HCM Managementmodules.
• Experience with data migrationintegration and reporting within Workday.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and best practicesincluding but not limited to employee lifecycle managementcompensation planning and performance evaluation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with theability to build rapport with clients and internalteams.
• Demonstrated ability to effectivelytrain lead workshops facilitate discussions and deliverpresentations effectively.
• Analytical mindsetwith problemsolving skills capable of translating businessrequirements into technical solutions.
• Abilityto manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines in afastpaced environment.

• Configure Workday FinancialManagement modules including but not limited to Core FinancialGeneral Ledger Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Cash ManagementAdaptive Planning Projects Procurement and FinancialReporting.
• Customize Workday functionalitythrough configuration including creating calculated fields customreports and integrations.
• Lead testing effortsincluding but not limited to; preparation of test cases as well asmanaging the execution of system integration testing useracceptance testing and endtoend testing.
• Provide enduser training and support during theimplementation process. Develop desktop procedures end userdocumentation business process maps and other reference / trainingmaterials as needed.
• Conduct workshops andtraining sessions to educate client stakeholders on Workdayfunctionality and best practices.
• Provideguidance and support to client teams during data migration testingand deployment phases.
• Work closely withproject managers and other consultants to ensure timely delivery ofproject milestones and objectives.
• Workclosely with internal and external partners including consultantsand Workday support to troubleshoot issues and ensure timelyresolution.
• Document configuration decisionsprocess flows and system enhancements.
• Participate in project meetings and provide regularupdates to stakeholders on project status and keymilestones.
• Stay updated on Workday productreleases and enhancements and assess their potential impact onclient implementations.
• Contribute to thecontinuous improvement of implementation methodologies tools andtemplates.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting BusinessAdministration or related field.
• WorkdayFinancials certification(s) is required.
• Proven experience with Workday Financial Managementimplementation projects is required.
• Strongunderstanding of finance and accounting principles andprocesses.
• Handson experience configuringWorkday Financial Management modules.
• Experience with data migration integration and reportingwithin Workday.
• Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaboratewith crossfunctional teams.
• Demonstratedability to effectively train lead workshops facilitate discussionsand deliver presentations effectively.
• Analytical mindset with problemsolving skills capable oftranslating business requirements into technicalsolutions.
• Ability to manage multiplepriorities and work under tight deadlines in a fastpacedenvironment.
