Key Responsibilities

• Manage Comprehensive Financial Operations: Oversee P&L, accruals, coding, discrepancies, and adjustments.
• Journal Entries Expertise: Prepare and create precise accounting journal entries.
• Bank Reconciliations & Reporting: Handle bank reconciliations and support schedules with accuracy.
• Financial Closings: Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing procedures.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and analyze variances in income statements and balance sheets.
• Monitor Financial Health: Keep a close watch on revenue and expenses, ensuring financial stability.
• Data Consolidation: Coordinate consolidation and evaluation of financial data.
• Internal Controls & Risk Management: Assist with the assessment and implementation of internal controls and identify and prevent risks.
• Sales Tax Returns: Prepare and submit sales tax returns for your assigned territory.
• Fixed Asset Management: Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules.
• Ad Hoc Analysis: Provide valuable insights through ad hoc financial analysis.
• Audit Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal and external audit teams, preparing audit schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2 years in Accounting with a strong focus on journal entries.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting, with experience in Great Plains (FRX experience within GP highly preferred).
• Financial Acumen: Strong skills in handling sensitive data and advanced math abilities.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent understanding of balance sheets, P&L, and general financial reporting.
