Account Executive, Manufacturing Industry

As an Account Executive you will be focused on becoming the strategic advisor to manufacturing executives to help them translate business objectives into a strategic roadmap for digital transformation. You’re passionate about helping manufacturing companies achieve proper alignment across culture, processes, and technology, and our proven consulting methodology is the vehicle you’ll use to get them there. You will own and achieve the revenue goals for supply chain planning, production scheduling, and manufacturing execution solutions as our team of consultants, technology experts, engineers, and project managers execute on commitments for client success.

What you’ll be working on

  • Conduct prospecting across the manufacturing industry (Aerospace/Life Siences/Consumer Products/Pharmaceutical
  • Identify and qualify sales opportunities
  • Develop and drive account strategy / strategic account plan for target clients
  • Apply defined methodology to conduct value assessments, create solution roadmaps for clients to meet their goals, and communicate value propositions to prospects/clients
  • Create and nurture executive relationships and leverage the extended Toward Zero team to assist in closing deals
  • Conduct and manage the end-to-end sales process and customer lifecycle

  • To understand clients’ business drives and translate them into success roadmaps

What you bring to the table

  • Minimum ten (2-5) years experience in manufacturing enterprise application software sales in the manufacturing industry
  • Sales experience in manufacturing with the knowledge and experience to lead the sales for the industry vertical
  • Demonstrated history of closing 10 strategic deals or $2 million revenue annually
  • Experience in enterprise/executive consulting sales desirable
  • Deep subject expertise in smart manufacturing, manufacturing operations, supply chain, industrial engineering, or related discipline
  • Extensive knowledge and ability to articulate the strategic business value of smart manufacturing
  • Expert-level knowledge of industry operations and supply chain trends and best practices
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
