In July 2022, On opened a new office space for our cross-functional teams at Tanner Point in Portland, Oregon. True to the On spirit, our office is an environment that never stands still – a hub for creativity and technology where ideas move fast. We are looking for a Facilities and Workplace Experience Specialist to join our America’s Workplace Experience Team. You will help drive office hospitality and facilities topics for our Portland workspace and deliver the WOW to our On team members, as well as to guests and partners. You have an entrepreneurial mindset, thrive in a highly dynamic environment, are at ease in finding solutions to at times unexpected or unplanned situations and enjoy discovering ways of optimisation. It is important to you to build strong relationships and to partner very closely with many teams across the organization. This position must be on-site 5 days a week: Monday - Friday
Your Mission
  • Promote and build our Portland office by being an On culture ambassador with the aim to create a unique place to collaborate - Be the office point of contact and hands on generalist for all hospitality, building management, vendors and facilities related tasks such as office badges, servicing requests and corporate apartment management - Monitor and manage our Workplace Experience ticketing system while ensuring tickets are being prioritized and answered in a timely manner - Steer and optimize all office operations including managing all supplies, managing inbounds and outbounds of the mail room, assisting with internal events and coordinating facilities topics with our internal and external partners & suppliers - Ensure that health & safety requirements (OSHA regulations) are met internally as well as with local authorities and coordinate maintenance support - Provide support to teams both locally and globally, including the planning and coordination of office initiatives such as workshops, office design & construction projects, sell -ins, spark sessions, core-onboardings, sales meetings and town halls - Drive and ensure clear and engaging communication around workplace aspects, i.e: keeping the office intranet pages up to date
Your story
  • 3 years of previous experience in a similar role including facilities, events & workplace hospitality background. - You have a solid understanding of office and building operations, OSHA compliance, business prioritizations and best practices with great attention to detail - You are an outstanding communicator (verbal and written) with exceptional interpersonal skills - You embody an entrepreneurial spirit and are proactive with a can-do attitude - You have demonstrated experience working independently and are able to manage complex projects whilst sticking to critical timelines- and deadlines
