Job title: HR Administrator

Salary range: $70-85k

The HR Administrator is responsible for all aspects of onboarding/offboarding, payroll processing, benefits management, recruiting administration, and compliance as well as invoice processing and coding. This position will also assist in the development/consistency of our company culture as we grow.

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS

  • New Hire Processing and Recruitment Assistance:
    • Manage onboarding for new hires once approved by management, including completing paperwork, setting up POS systems, email accounts, and other platform accesses.
    • Assist in updating and posting job openings.
    • Support the hiring process by forwarding resumes to relevant departments and scheduling interviews for managers with vetted candidates.
  • Salary Administration:
    • Handle salary adjustments upon management approval, updating records via status change forms, and ensuring changes are reflected in POS and other relevant platforms.
  • Benefits Administration:
    • Oversee benefits programs such as HCSO, Kaiser, 401K, and Order Up.
    • Track eligibility and changes, coordinating with brokers and AOC for updates to keep payroll accurate.
    • Collaborate with brokers to manage annual open enrollment for each location.
    • Conduct annual audits of I-9 and Serve Safe documents for each location.
  • Payroll and Contributions:
    • Calculate ERMED and Med125 contributions/deductions.
    • Ensure compliance with all federal and California labor policies.
    • Process bi-weekly payroll for all locations, supported by departmental notes.
    • Facilitate punch audits with the management team as needed.
    • Audit tip log entries and totals during each pay period, correcting errors and updating logs as necessary.
  • Workers' Compensation:
    • Work with managers to ensure proper protocols for workers' compensation, including accident reporting, DWC1 filing, and necessary follow-ups.
  • Invoice Processing:
    • Compile and scan/upload invoices/statements from purchasing departments to Plate IQ for processing.
    • Address vendor payment inquiries and involve AOC as necessary.
  • General Administrative Tasks:
    • Maintain and update the employee handbook.
    • Track license expirations and perform other general administrative duties as required.
  • Required competencies:
    • Proficiency in using Paylocity
