Experienced Medical Assistant
We are seeking a Lead Medical Assistant with 2 years experience for our busy primary care and walk-in clinic.
Our clinic is in need of someone who is dependable, friendly, efficient, and self motivated to join our busy professional environment. Must be a team player, compassionate and patient focused. Must have a sense of urgency.
Primary duties include but are not limited to:
- Taking patients' vitals and health histories
- Administering injections and breathing treatments
- Perform medical lab testing and phlebotomy
- Assisting providers with procedures
- Communicating messages between patients/provider
- Delegate and maintain clinic flow
- Prior authorizations
- Specialists referrals
- Ordering and stocking supplies/samples
- EHR experience (Athena experience a plus)
- Experience in primary care and/or urgent care setting
