One Tech Engineering is Hiring a Construction Manager Near Shakopee, MN

One Tech Engineering is searching for a Construction Manager for a position located in Shakopee, Minnesota. The Construction Manager will be actively participating in the scheduling and planning of the work safety observations, coordinating with engineering, project management and other site resources as well as directing certain site resources in their activities and ensuring that they're completing tasks.
The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have 8-10 years of previous construction management experience.
Construction Manager Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects, projects that are small to moderate in scope, risk, and/or organizational span, including subprojects of larger, more complex projects.
  • Manages multiple projects and orchestrates the results to achieve a broad program goal.
  • Plans and implements schedules and monitors program from inception through delivery ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Defines and reports program status, development issues and success metrics.
  • Identifies and monitors areas of risk.
  • Continuously seeks opportunities to improve cost, performance and schedule.
  • Manages budgets.
  • Facilitates communication and coordination among projects.
  • Manages stakeholder engagement and satisfaction.
  • Maintains awareness of trends, business conditions and internal process and practices impacting component projects or overall program.
  • Adheres to standard project management methodologies and reporting techniques. knowledge of construction project best practices.
Requirements of the Construction Manager:
  • 8-10 years of previous construction management experience, preferably with an industrial or mechanical construction background.
  • Possess strong relationship management skills.
  • OSHA 10 certification is required; OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with SAP, Adobe PRO, and Bluebeam is a nice to have.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
