The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
Engineer Responsibilities
- Manage tasks assigned through SAP, perform daily capacity checks, and standardize notifications.
- Monitor the task queue regularly, address capacity check issues as they arise, and participate in operational calls, training sessions, and safety meetings.
- Responsible for the design, modeling, development and testing of a machine, structure or system.
- Understands and applies standard engineering principles.
- Creates simulations and prototypes to evaluate preliminary designs and test how a machine, structure or system operates.
- Designs and tests components, and integrates components to produce final product.
- Monitors quality of products and controls the efficiency of processes.
- Evaluates a design's overall effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety. Investigates root causes of failures to maintain quality and recommend improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel.
- Previous Utility experience is a nice to have.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
