One Tech Engineering is searching for a Workday Systems Analyst for a position located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Workday Systems Analyst will be responsible for creating the framework for assessing financial payback.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have 5 years of experience with in-house payroll operations/exposure to payroll in a large hourly and/or union population.

Workday Systems Analyst Responsibilities:

• Analyzes non-IT business problems and articulates requirements to support process improvement opportunities.
• Identifies alternative solutions and makes recommendations.
• Prepares documentation of current and desired state.
• Develops requirements and builds a common understanding between process owners and solution developers.
• Identify and validate payroll overpayments by running and reviewing reports in Workday, and cross-referencing with data in the UKG timekeeping system.
• Manage and create cases in ServiceNow, ensuring accurate data entry and utilization of preloaded email templates to notify affected employees.
• Raise and document potential system defects impacting payroll calculations for further investigation.

Requirements of the Workday Systems Analyst:

• 5 years of experience with in-house payroll operations/exposure to payroll in a large hourly and/or union population.
• Previous experience using Workday, UKG, or ServiceNow.
• Must understand the connection between timekeeping and payroll in addition to payroll calculations.
• Must have strong coordination, monitoring and follow up skills.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and have strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must have strong analysis/analytical skills and at least baseline Microsoft Excel skills.
• FPC and the CPP certifications would be nice to have.
