About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to direct a flagship employer health clinic serving a leading, innovative university. You will be integral to the clinic's success, responsible for the efficient and effective management of all aspects of clinical operations within a healthcare practice. This includes overseeing administrative functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, managing personnel and optimizing patient care delivery. The role will report to the Strategic Account Executive and directly support the designated Medical Director and corporate client team. The position promises a wide range of challenges and opportunities, with the chance to significantly contribute to the health and wellness of a large student body.

Responsibilities:
1. Administrative Management:
a. Oversee day-to-day administrative operations, including scheduling, billing, medical records management, and front desk activities
b. Implement and maintain efficient workflows and procedures to optimize clinic operations
c. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and accreditation standards
2. Personnel Management:
a. Recruit, hire, train, and supervise clinical and administrative staff
b. Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support staff development and training initiatives
c. Foster a positive work environment conducive to collaboration, communication, and professional growth
3. Financial Management:
a. Manage supply budgets, monitor financial performance, and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement with vendor partners
b. Oversee billing and coding processes, insurance claims submission, and credentialing
c. Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and third-party payers to ensure favorable terms and pricing
4. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
a. Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes and satisfaction
b. Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, clinical protocols, and best practices
c. Address any issues or deficiencies identified through audits and implement corrective actions as needed
5. Patient Care Coordination:
a. Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care delivery, referrals, and follow-up
b. Ensure timely and efficient patient scheduling, registration, and discharge processes
c. Respond to patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and empathetic manner
6. Technology and Systems Management:
a. Oversee the implementation and utilization of electronic health record (EHR) systems and other technology platforms to support clinical operations
b. Ensure staff proficiency in using technology systems and provide training and support as needed
c. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and software solutions to improve efficiency and patient care delivery
Desired Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business management, nursing or equivalent work experience is required
· Previous experience in healthcare management or administration, with a strong background in clinical operations
· Working knowledge of student health services, healthcare regulations, compliance standards and accreditation requirements
· An active LPN, RN, or equivalent license is required
· Ability to lead, motivate and manage a large group of healthcare providers, ancillary staff and customer service representatives
· Proficiency in computer systems and healthcare technology platforms
· Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
· BLS certified
