Job Duties:

1. Provide data modeling, mining, analysis, and visualization to address business needs and drive optimization and performance improvement. Deliver analytical insights to support and validate business decisions.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional and agile teams to identify and execute opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions and monitor outcomes.
3. Communicate analytical findings and recommendations to leadership and business stakeholders throughout the organization.
4. Design, build, and deploy business intelligence solutions.
5. Utilize artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms including regressions, simulations, scenario analysis, clustering, decision trees, and neural networks to perform exploratory analysis and identify areas of opportunity and risk through correlations, drivers, and sensitivities.
6. Provide support and recommendations to Business Intelligence and Information Technology teams related to database design, warehouse structure, extract, transform, load (ETL) processes, and overall data architecture and governance.
7. Lead and empower Data & Analytics team to support corporate strategic priorities and tactical execution. Support and energize a data-driven culture throughout the organization and across all lines of business.
8. Ideate and implement applications of AI and such advances in technology for business growth and value creation.
9. Evaluate new platforms and partnerships to utilize data for better customer experience.
10. Position is based out of Phoenix, Arizona HQ and telecommuting is permitted on a case-by-case basis.

Job Requirements:

• Education Requirements: Masters degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or closely related.
• Experience Requirements: 36 months of experience in job offered, Sr. Software Engineer, or closely related.

Special skills requirements:

1. Data wrangling, statistical methods and hypothesis testing, predictive modeling, supervised and unsupervised machine learning, regressions, simulations, scenario analysis, clustering, decision trees, deep learning, and neural networks.
2. Acting as an Agile scrum lead to interface with product, line of business and development teams to successfully execute projects in an iterative and efficient manner.
3. Working with REST and SOAP web services to expose business functionality and communicate data between multiple vendors.
4. Understanding and applying cost impact analysis techniques.
5. Design and implementation of Business Intelligence solutions like PowerBI or Tableau and database systems like SQL, Oracle, and Hadoop.
6. Using and understanding coding languages such as R, Python, Visual Basic (VB), and C for development of software, data analysis and implementation of machine learning algorithms.
