Our Newest Opportunity:
This role will be responsible for onboarding and training of our newest Workplace to Wealth advisors. The director will be tasked with empowering advisors to successfully meet OneDigital's goal to drive wealth revenue through our financial education and 1on1 advice offering. Supporting the OneDigital way, this role will oversee the creation and ongoing enhancement of our advisor's development platform, ensuring both in-market and centralized advisors have both the technical and interpersonal skills to deliver exceptional education, guidance and advice to our workplace clients.
The Director of Advisor Engagement will also be well positioned to establish avenues for spreading the OneDigital way to InMarket advisors as well our centralized team. A culture built upon best practices with our tools, language, planning first mentality and respect for putting our clients needs first will create abundant opportunities for success in the role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes but is not limited to):
Structured Advisor Development:
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and OneDigital L&D team to design and deliver comprehensive sales training programs.
  • Champion the adoption of essential digital practice management and financial planning tools.
  • Develop clear persona driven call scripts for proactive outreach and inbound opportunities.
  • Utilize innovative tools to create a user-friendly development platform.
  • Strategic Growth & Recruitment to align strength and size of the team with growing demand for our teams resources across OneDigital.
  • Partner with Talent Management and field leadership to assess advisor capacity and develop a recruitment plan aligned with budget and needs, both inMarket and nationally.
  • Ensure smooth transitions for centralized advisors graduating to inMarket roles.
  • Oversee advisor team servicing small account retention.
  • Cultivate a diverse and talented advisor pool that aligns well with our diverse pool of employees being served each day.
  • Innovation & Collaboration:
  • Identify and implement strategies to maximize advisor engagement, driving wealth revenue while prioritizing employee solutions.
  • Collaborate on integrating digital advisors into future employee education and financial advice models (digital tools, personalized consultations).
  • Identify internal champions for OneDigital tools and initiatives to elevate advisor knowledge and support broader goals.
  • Collaborate with Retirement Plan advisers to serve their terminated participant or plan needs.
  • Ability to join team in "all hands" opportunities to drive wealth opportunities.
Performance Measurement & Optimization:
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of advisor development initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze key metrics related to advisor performance and program success.
  • Integrate advisor metrics, NPS, etc to include in overall reporting to retirement advisors of W2W engagement.
  • Develop incentive program promoting both quantity & quality of opportunities driven to inMarket wealth advisors.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • 5 years proven experience in financial services, wealth management, or related fields.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Ability to flourish in a fast-paced team environment, managing multiple tasks and prioritizing business needs and ability to function well in ambiguity.
  • Successful track record leading change management in a dynamic environment through deployment of structured decision-making processes, feedback loops, knowledge management systems and behavioral learning.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate industry and OneDigital trends.
  • Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven executive facilitation and presentation skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SalesForce and ability to both learn and teach various financial planning tools.
  • Ability to travel as needed, generally no more than once per month

  • Effective conflict management, problem solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company's performance. We also offer eligible employees health, wellbeing, retirement, and other financial benefits, paid time off, overtime pay for non-exempt employees, and robust learning and development programs. You will receive reimbursement of job-related expenses per the company policy and may receive employee perks and discounts.
