Job Description Summary:

The OneHope Research and Development team designs products and programs that engage children and youth around the world with God’s Word. Within the Digital team, the Project Manager will coordinate and collaborate with a multifunctional team to develop products and programs in digital form to bring God’s Word to Every Child. This includes working alongside a globally-minded and cross-disciplinary team to ensure that products or programs developed are both relevant and Biblically accurate. 

An ideal candidate maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and has a courteous, Christ-like attitude. Has a strong desire to learn, the ability to assess and solve problems to meet evolving ministry needs quickly, and an eagerness to help find practical solutions in digital products and programs.

Responsibilities: 

Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Project Planning and Execution:

• Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and successful delivery of digital projects.
• Oversee and coordinate project tasks, timelines, and resources (including budgets) to meet project objectives.
• Facilitate the design and localization process of new and scaled ministry programs and products. Tasks include:
  • Planning and facilitating workgroups and meetings
  • Guiding the product’s direction for effective engagement with the target audience
• Maintaining multiple internal database project and product updates. 

1. Cross-Cultural Collaboration:

• Possess exceptional cross-cultural communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams effectively.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team environment that encourages open communication and collaboration.

1. People Skills:

• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work seamlessly with various teams, including content writers, theologians, designers, front-end developers, marketers, and other project managers. 
• Build and maintain strong relationships with fellow team members and external partners.
• Works well independently and with a team to coordinate the development of new digital products and programs. 
• Ministers to OneHope’s donor partners through Culture of Engagement. 

1. Task-oriented Execution:

• Be a proactive and task-oriented individual capable of handling a full workload.
• Execute project tasks efficiently and effectively, ensuring all project milestones are met.

1. Digital Space Knowledge:

• Stay"up-to-date" on the latest trends and advancements in the digital space.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of digital tools and technologies to enhance project outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Digital Project Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong cross-cultural communication skills, with superior verbal and written English communication abilities.
• Exceptional people skills, ability to collaborate with diverse teams, and ability to serve internal and external clients excellently.
• Proven ability to manage a full workload, multiple deadlines, and priorities simultaneously while delivering timely results.
• Task-oriented mindset with a focus on execution, detail-oriented, and highly administrative.
• In-depth knowledge of the digital space, including digital development, content creation, and relevant tools.
• Aptitude for understanding digital trends among children and youth, with a strong interest in content creation and design for this demographic.
• Experience with agile project development, iterative processes, and the ability to work in a complex, innovative, and rapidly changing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, both collaboratively and independently.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively within diverse linguistic and cultural demographics while being a team player who excels in problem-solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, DropBox, and Google Drive; experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Basecamp preferred.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience in project management preferred
• Background in UX design, digital media studies, user experience, communications, or related field preferred

• Experience in any of the following: missions and outreach, mentoring, coaching, teaching children or youth preferred
