Position: Manager, Card AnalyticsLocation: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) OneMain Financial is looking for a Manager to join our Card Analytics team in Charlotte, NC. We are seeking a leader to help grow our new credit card business. In this critical role, this leader will be responsible for growing the card business by having a significant responsibility within the Cards new account strategy team. A successful candidate will expand their competencies and grow their business and industry acumen, as well as demonstrate the ability to work on complex processes or projects across the end-to-end project cycle. They will gain knowledge to suggest new answers to old questions, develop insights and push the traditional boundaries of the lending industry. In the Role
Develop and manage key Acquisition strategies to grow Exposure profitably: approve / decline, initial credit line, and pricing
Design and manage A/B testing around initial credit line
Lifetime valuation estimates for various segments – improving assumptions and recommending changes to enhance returns
Partner with Data Science to evaluate alternative data sources, and develop and implement cutting edge underwriting models
Partnering with Engineering and Implementation partners to drive timely change across different platforms
Utilize data query tools (SQL, SAS, Python) and analytical software to develop, test, and execute new strategies.
Effectively summarize and present results and insights to management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (Graduate Preferred) in a quantitative discipline, such as Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business Management, or Computer Science
5 years experience required in analytics roles preferably with exposure to credit cards and/or Fintech
Deep knowledge and expertise of using analytical tools and techniques to drive business outcomes
Knowledge of consumer-lending best practices, including the use of advanced statistical techniques and data sources
Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills to achieve business objectives
Ability to work in fast-paced ever-changing environment and the ability to juggle an array of tasks and individuals on tight timelines
Innovative and capable of developing a highly analytical approach to solving problems
Strong SQL and Excel/MS Office skills required

Self-motivated and organized – a high degree of comfort managing multiple stakeholders and team members; strong collaboration and teamwork skills; and a problem-solver oriented toward achieving results
Preferred
Lending or consumer finance industry experience
People managerial experience

Demonstrates the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational delivery
