Job Description:The Sr. Manager, Data Quality and Analytics is a key role in the RCM department who will report directly to the VP, RCM and will work closely with managers and executives supporting OneOncology’s partnered practice, Tennessee Oncology data and analytics. This position acts as a super user for the practice management systems, ensures data integrity and operational analytics.
Responsibilities
  • Possesses an understanding of the Practice Management Database including all reporting tables and database constant oversight. Oversee end of month system close process and EOM quality assurance.
  • QA oversight of accrual reporting methodology and data inputs.
  • Performs a fee schedule audit review and provides feedback monthly.
  • Data extraction, interpretation and integration from multiple database systems with an attention to detail to ensure data accuracy, analytical skills to draw conclusions from the data, and report and graph production to display findings.
  • Research best practices and make recommendations to key stakeholders for adoption of systems and tools, based on analysis of findings.
  • Conducts analysis and develops reporting, with limited oversight, on quality, risk, utilization, cost, clinical and front office measures through use of, but not limited to, regulatory specifications, benchmarking, trending, and opportunity analysis.
  • Directs and oversees Finance and Reporting Analytics for the area of RCM and regulatory operations. Decision making responsibility for priority of report requests, delegation and adherence to deadlines.
  • Review and analyze report requests to evaluate criteria, layout formats, and work with other departments and/or vendors to translate requests through the written report request process, as applicable.
  • Working knowledge of sequel, Crystal Reports and Microsoft Access. Ability to abstract data through one of these methods for distribution to requesting party.
  • Creates reports in any system as business needs dictate.
  • Supervise RCM Analyst on day-to-day duties, including training and personnel functions.
  • Possess an understanding of the HealthCare Industry including Medical Billing and Value Based Care Initiatives.
  • Ability to translate published program criteria into usable report formats. Attend meetings and provide input into data capabilities.
  • Consult and make recommendations to department leaders on data needs to develop functional metrics to support process improvement and clinic operations decision-making.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of end users in development and production of ad-hoc and scheduled reporting
  • Engage in QA and analytics related to VBC programs. Ability to digest program content and develop analytic tools to support those programs.
  • Other duties as assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare RCM required, preferably in an Oncology healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency with practice management systems and analytics platforms such as PowerBI, Crystal Reports, MS Access and SQL
  • Associate’s degree in a related field; relevant experience may be substituted for education.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to Oncology/Hematology
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of individuals, including physicians, patients, insurance providers, and pre-authorization teams
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in statistical and financial analysis
