ONEPOWER Consulting is Hiring a Logistics Coordinator Near Norcross, GA
This position will be responsible for ensuring that customers’ shipments are processed and delivered in an accurate, timely manner.
The Logistics Coordinator will work with the Branch Manager and Operations Branch Manager to develop and maintain excellent customer service for assigned clients.Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Duties include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Prepare accurate, timely file shipping documentation (Domestic & Import & Export including AES Filing using company system)
- Coordination of shipments with the importer / customer.
- Data entry including data to US Customs and other government agencies. Document processing and checking.
- Monitoring shipments.
- Truck / Drayage arrangements with vendors.
- Approve vendor invoices and process payment. Generate invoices to customers.
- Audit and maintain files.
- Ensure the accuracy of all documents.
Supervision ReceivedThe position is under the direct supervision of both Branch Manager and Operations Manager.
People ContactThis position requires direct communication with customers, forklift drivers, truck drivers, and all company personnel.
Decision-MakingDecision-making related to day-to-day shipping activities in accordance with established company protocols will be required. When situations arise outside of established protocols, the Logistics Coordinator should seek the advice of the Operations Branch Manager and Branch Manager.

This position is looking for someone who is looking to gain experience and is interested in office work.
Experience Working In Freight Forwarding Industry Is Preferred.Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsNone.
Language SkillsEnglish only
Bilingual (Japanese-English) is preferred
Mathematical SkillsBasic arithmetic is required.
Reasoning AbilityBasic ability (Deductive Reasoning, Inductive Reasoning, Critical Thinking) to solve day to day problems and communicate effectively are required.
Physical DemandsSitting and Keyboarding at workstation daily
Work EnvironmentThe position is primarily situated in an office environment and will be required to wear appropriate office attire.
