We are seeking a Maintenance Technician-Electromechanical (2nd shift : 3 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM) to assist our Toner Operations Group at our manufacturing site.

Reporting to a supervisor, the Maintenance Technician-Electromechanical will oversee the upkeep of manufacturing machinery.

They will also diagnose and resolve various equipment problems using their expertise and discretion to strategize and achieve objectives.

Responsibilities :

• Demonstrate and promote a "safety-first" culture by ensuring that operational procedures, equipment, and processes prioritize a secure work environment for all team members.
• Conduct electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose issues with malfunctioning equipment used in the manufacturing process.
• Conduct operational tests and isolate faults in systems and equipment.
• Disassemble, adjust, repair, assemble, and reconstruct equipment, electronic systems, circuitry, and computerized systems based on layout plans, blueprints, manuals, sketches, or drawings.
• Perform regular and preventive maintenance on manufacturing and warehouse equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work activities, including work orders, preventive maintenance check sheets, parts usage records, etc.
• May carry out equipment modifications as instructed by manufacturing engineers.
• May undertake additional tasks to support manufacturing operations as directed by manufacturing or equipment engineers, such as installing electrical conduits, wiring, sensors, and controls according to specified engineering guidelines.

Qualifications : Education

Education

Preferred

Technical / other training or better.

Experience

Required

• Japanese is preferred. But not required.
• 2 years electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience (i.e. PLC and relay systems) in a manufacturing environment
• Must have ability to read and interpret blueprints, maintenance manuals, and engineering sketches.
• Must have own basic hand tools.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Must be available to work overtime, including some weekends.

Preferred

• Experience welding, and machining.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9000 and ISO 14000.
