Job Duties :

• Reads blueprint or job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions such as fixtures and determine sequence of operations.
• Selects, positions, and secures tool in tool holder from CNC programming and secures work piece in holding device, machine table, or fixtures.
• Observes operation of machine and verifies conformance of work piece to specifications.
• Ability to distinguish stainless steel, carbon steel and aluminum and read blue prints and schematics.
• Lift truck experience preferred, or willingness to obtain.
• Must be willing work overtime on an as-needed basis to maintain production deadlines.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals;

and convert decimals to fractions .

Able to accurately measure with a tape measure and square to 1 / 32 nds.

Education and / or Experience :

Two year certificate from an accredited college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and / or training;

or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Requirements :

Background and drug tests are required for review of eligibility, all pre-screening is performed at no cost to the applicant.

This is a Production / Machining operation on concrete, so Steel-Toe / ANZI-41 compliant footwear is required . All other Safety Gear / PPE are provided.
