OneSparQ is looking for a Senior Internal Auditor for a Fortune 500 company. This position is located in Calhoun, GA.

Required Skills:

• BS or BA in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• 5 years’ experience in accounting, auditing, ESG or business analysis
• Current Certification – CPA, CIA, CISA
• Knowledge and experience with SOX Auditing & Procedures
• Strong hands-on experience with corporate internal audits, identifying risk, reporting and developing solutions within regulations and laws
• Proficient in writing and oral communication with ability to present data and solutions to the management team

Additional:

• Experience working in a large Manufacturing/Retail Audit team

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare documentation, results and conclude on assigned audit areas ensuring the success and professional standards of the assignment
• Identifies and defines issues and reviews and analyzes evidence
• Prepares working papers, which record and summarize data on the assigned audit segment, in accordance with professional standards
• Assists in recommendations based on independent judgment of corrective action and suggested improvements to operations and reductions in cost
• Writes and reviews audit reports for distribution to management and senior management documenting the results of the audit
• Climate and Environmental risk management strategy, appetite, and measurement
• Evaluating progress against the Climate Risk Roadmap and environmental commitments
• Actively participate in framework and process design and risk framework integration
• Assess climate and environmental reporting (TCFD, ESG, SEC, etc.)
• Engaging with ESG program
• Create guidelines, checklists, policies, procedures, and other related program content, to align with best practice, and frameworks such as CSRD and SEC
• Partner with sustainability subject matter experts to evaluate existing and future operational risks and opportunities and translate into enterprise level insights and analysis
• Develops and maintains productive client relationships through individual contacts and group meetings
• Pursues and is responsible for assuring compliance with the department’s annual requirements of professional development through external and internal training and professional association memberships
• Represents internal audit on organizational project teams, at management meetings and with external organizations
• On rare occasions may be required to provide testimony to courts on criminal matters.
