Physician – Primary Care (Visa sponsorship / green card / US citizens)

Location: Onestop Aesthetic Travel and Wellness Center, 5924 Stoneridge Dr, STE 110, Pleasanton CA 94588

We're a clinic in Pleasanton, CA, at the heart of the East Bay area, catering to a diverse patient demographic of all age groups. We accept most commercial insurance and select state insurance. On an average day, you'll attend to 18 – 22 patients. Dr. Anuja Garg, our medical director, specializes in Internal Medicine, Obesity Medicine, and Aesthetic Medicine. This opportunity is perfect for individuals seeking hands-on experience in these specialized fields. Additionally, we envision offering qualified candidates a partnership track within a 3-year timeframe.

We require candidates with active work visas, permanent residency, or US citizenship. Visa sponsorship is available as needed.

Pay range:

$200,000 - $250,000

Responsibilities:

- Perform medical and/or physical examinations and provide diagnoses.

- Develop and prescribe appropriate treatment plans, including therapy or rehabilitation programs.

- Administer therapy to patients as necessary.

- Coordinate with consulting medical specialists.

- Participate as a physician member in multidisciplinary clinical work or program development.

- Supervise and train interns and residents.

- Provide clinical supervision to licensed and professional staff.

- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports of activities, adhering to Joint Commission of Accredited Hospitals Organization standards and other regulatory agencies, including Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation.

- Collaborate with other medical and/or mental health professionals in the community when required.

- Communicate with patients' relatives regarding illness and treatment.

- Develop comprehensive case histories.

- Perform any related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Licensure/Certification:

- Licensed to practice Internal Medicine or Family Practice in California.

- Possession of a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

- Board certification or eligibility in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Adolescent Medicine, or a related area is highly desirable.

Language:

- Proficiency in Spanish is strongly preferred but not mandatory.

Knowledge of:

- Current developments, trends, and research in the medical field.

- Basic understanding of clinical supervisory principles and practices.

- Pharmacology and psychopharmacology, including laws regarding informed consent, dosage ranges, drug incompatibilities, and side effects.

- Proper documentation of clinical services.

- Principles, practices, and techniques of general medicine and their application.

- Medical diagnosis and treatment.

- Hospitals and clinics organization.

- Communicable disease control.

- Public health practices and procedures.

Skill/Ability to:

- Diagnose and treat patients.

- Develop and monitor appropriate treatment plans.

- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, their families, staff, and others.

- Learn and apply laws, statutes, codes, and regulations governing California health service providers and other regulatory requirements.

Required Experience:

- Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Family Medicine or Medicine residency program.

- Approximately 1 years of clinical experience in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.

- Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

- State licensed in California.
