As a Lead Scrum Master, you will lead scrum teams using an agile scrum development methodology to manage architecture and software development activities related to one of the most important aspects of AT&T: Systems Reliability. As a member of Enterprise Architecture and System Enablement (EASE), you will be leading teams and programs which support various organizational objectives such as implementing technical and process improvement plans for Mission-Critical applications, supporting Enterprise Architecture standardization and governance, driving adoption and deployment of observability and monitoring tools, increasing Cloud efficiency and ROI, and prioritizing technology investment opportunities.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Guiding a scrum team on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and how to get the most out of self-organization.
  • Assesses the maturity of the scrum team, providing support and coaching their team to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable to the team.
  • Removes impediments and/or guides the team on how to remove impediments.
  • Facilitates and leads Agile ceremonies (Daily Standup, Demonstration, Story Point Estimation, Retrospective, Iteration Planning, Backlog Grooming) and fosters continuous improvement.
  • Collaborates with team members, but does not act as a manager, lead developer, Project Manager, or Product Owner.
  • Remove impediments to a team's productivity by shielding them from outside influences.
  • Empower teams and facilitate creativity while guarding quality and monitoring iteration progress while striving for successful completion.
  • Represent the team to management. Disseminate information to the team, including metrics and charts.
  • Work with other Scrum Masters to ensure organizational process improvement.
  • Builds and maintains a trusting and safe environment where problems and issues can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged.
  • Protects the team from external distractions, allowing the team to focus on the work to which they have committed.
Required Experience:
  • 5 - 8 years' experience; Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role

Desired Education and Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in any Business, Technical, Engineering, Information Systems or related fields; or equivalent experience preferred.

Our Lead Scrum Master earns between $128,400 - $215,800 annually. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
