About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Enterprise Risk Specialist in Strategic Enterprise Risk Management (SERM) as part of Enterprise Risk Programs & Integration. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.
Strategic Enterprise Risk Management (SERM), part of Independent Risk Management, is primarily responsible for leading enterprise risk programs, governance, and infrastructure. The function provides an aggregated, integrated, and holistic view and understanding of Wells Fargo's combined risks and helps the company address those risks.
In this role, you will:
  • Be a part of the Risk Measurement Program team, which sits within the larger Enterprise Risk Programs and Integration (ERPI) group.
  • Provide oversight of the Risk Acceptance Program, ensuring the Program remains current and is successfully executed by the front line, in accordance with the Risk Acceptance Policy.
  • Support, maintain and enhance the enterprise Risk Acceptance and Risk Measurement systems of record and associated reporting.
  • Support engagement with stakeholders for the Risk Acceptance and Risk Measurement Programs, providing support, guidance, and training.
  • Ensure ongoing sustainability of SERM commitments.
Required Qualifications:
  • 4 years of Risk Management experience (includes Compliance, Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Audit, Legal, Credit Risk, Market Risk, IT Systems Security, Business Process Management) or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • At least 4 years of risk or control management experience
  • Experience supporting risk-based governance programs
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Outstanding problem solving and skills with the ability to turn findings into solutions
  • Ability to engage stakeholders across multiple risk stripes and lines of business
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
