OneVision Resources is Hiring a Marketing Coordinator Near Boston, MA

What are we looking for?

A Marketing Coordinator who will blow our hair back.

Where are we looking?

This is a remote position, but must be U.S.-based.

What type of job is this?

Full-time.

Who would you report to?

Our Marketing Manager; she’s got fabulous hair.

What we do—OneVision in a nutshell:

Here at OneVision, we are transforming the tech support experience in the connected home. To do this, we deliver a suite of vertically integrated service and technology solutions to a nationwide network of home technology installers (known as “integrators”). Integrators on the OneVision platform are empowered to better serve their homeowner-clients, reduce the level of chaos and distraction in their businesses, and generate meaningful recurring monthly revenue (RMR).

Our award-winning platform anchors around a white-label tech support offering, which enables integrators to route 100% of their inbound service requests via phone, email, or text to our friendly and knowledgeable 24/7 remote support team. We also provide a comprehensive suite of RMR solutions aimed at helping integrators create new revenue streams. These solutions include subscription management, recurring payment processing, direct sales support, custom-branded marketing, and purpose-built sales tools. Wrapped around all of our solutions is a proprietary SaaS offering that includes features like support ticketing, CRM, automated marketing, and more.

Put more simply, here’s what we do: we provide a “support department in a box” to professional home installation companies all over the country. These installation companies make a lot of money by placing really cool technology (e.g. home theaters, automated window shades, smart lighting, etc.) into their clients’ homes. Those homeowners call the installation company any time their technology stops working, which is where we come in. Rather than the installation company having to field that call (or text, or email) from their client, it comes to us first for support. Our contact center is staffed with really smart tech geeks who love fixing technology, and we have a software platform that allows us to deliver this support remotely as a white-label service to these homeowners under the name and brand of the installation company that installed the homeowner’s technology in the first place. Oh and by the way, we’ve figured out how to generate revenue from these support services on behalf of the installation companies who partner with us!

What are we looking for?

We are growing fast and are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone with 1-3 years of marketing experience who thrives in a fully remote and flexible work environment. You'll be responsible for executing various marketing initiatives across a variety of B2C and B2B tasks.

Ideal candidates will have a strong mix of creativity, project management skills, and technical proficiency with marketing tools like Iterable, Canva, and Unbounce. If you are a dynamic, resourceful marketer with a passion for continuous learning, high levels of empathy, and exceptional communication skills, let’s talk!

What should you bring to the table (our “must haves”)?

  • Experience: Do you have 1-3 years of professional marketing experience?

  • Extreme levels of empathy: Can you place emotional intelligence and mutual understanding at the center of everything you do?

  • Insatiable curiosity and a growth mindset: Do you want to learn and grow alongside us?

  • High levels of agency and resourcefulness: Do you have a relentless drive to overcome obstacles and get things done?

  • Strong project coordination and time management skills: Can you keep multiple plates spinning at the same time?

  • Autonomy: Can you perform your daily work with minimal oversight?

  • Strong copywriting skills: Can you create high-impact marketing communications that make our products and services “sing?”

  • MarTech proficiency: Are you comfortable with daily use of marketing technology tools such as Iterable, Canva, and Unbounce? Are you willing and able to learn new technologies as we continue to evolve?

  • Team-first, collaborative mentality: Can you be easy to work even under the pressure of constant deadlines? Can you smoothly navigate daily interactions with multiple stakeholders and customers? Can you work effectively up, down, and across the org chart?

  • Excellent communication/writing skills: Can you communicate with crystal clarity? Are you comfortable using writing as a primary means of working through challenges with your teammates?

  • Remote-work skills: Are you able to thrive in a fully distributed work environment?

  • Flexibility: Are you willing to remain flexible and adaptable as the needs of the organization evolve?

  • Range: Are you a generalist who enjoys getting your hands into a variety of different projects? Are you comfortable working across both B2B and B2C audiences? Are you able to handle a variety of different projects based on the current needs of the company?

If you can answer “yes” to all of the above, let’s talk!

Bonus points if...

  • You have experience in the “Custom Integration” (CI) industry

  • You have some understanding of the business of professional home technology

  • You have a passion for home technology/consumer electronics

  • Your mom refers you to us

What would your typical day look like?

Our marketing coordination needs include a mix of both B2C and B2B tasks. Your primary focus will be on the B2C side of the business (more details on this below). However, we are a small team; so as company priorities dictate, you may also be asked to shift some of your bandwidth to assist in our B2B marketing efforts as well.

B2C Marketing:

Across the integrators we work with, we have a database of tens of thousands of homeowners (and growing). Your primary role will be to assist in the creation of white-label marketing assets and campaigns aimed at converting these homeowners into premium support members on behalf of the integrators on our platform.

  • Onboarding coordination: Collaborate closely with our onboarding teams to ensure the smooth and timely launch of marketing campaigns related to new partner spin-ups.

  • Manage our marketing pipeline: Maintain our project management system for capturing, tracking, and completing marketing tasks across our existing partner base.

  • Develop and launch email campaigns: Create email campaigns in Iterable designed to convert our integrators’ clients into premium support plans.

  • Create and manage landing pages: Use Unbounce to create, manage, and update landing pages that help integrators on our platform educate their clients about their premium service offerings.

  • Develop sell sheets: Use Canva to create, manage, and update printable sell sheets designed to help our integrators sell premium services to their clients.

  • Customer engagement: Meet directly with integrators on an as-needed basis to gather feedback and review changes to various marketing materials.

  • Handle various administrative tasks: Execute various administrative tasks such as the creation of DNS records and management of various legal documents related to our white-label B2C offerings.

B2B marketing:

In addition to your primary role above, you may also be asked to assist our Marketing Manager in the execution of various B2B product marketing initiatives. These tasks will focus both on attracting more integrators to our platform and on promoting updates of our platform to our existing integrator customers.

  • Partner / Industry Communications: Assist in the creation and distribution of various communication initiatives designed to educate our target market and current partner base about how our platform is evolving. These initiatives include newsletters, webinars, social media, release announcement, and press communications.

  • Event Planning: Assist in the coordination and planning of various industry events designed to promote the OneVision brand and drive leads into our pipeline.

  • Sales Enablement: Assist in the creation and ongoing management of various sales enablement assets designed to empower our business development team with the tools they need to effectively position our solutions to prospective customers.

  • Release Enablement: Assist in the preparation of internal and partner-facing release communications designed to educate and inform users about new features and enhancements to our platform.

What do we bring to the table?

  • Competitive salary

  • 100% company-paid medical insurance premiums

  • A highly flexible time off and vacation policy

  • Company-funded Health Savings Accounts

  • Eligibility for dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance

  • Employee-funded 401K plan

  • A remote-friendly workplace

  • A dynamic startup environment with tons of room for career growth

  • Tons of opportunities to grow and advance alongside the company

Curious if you’ll fit our culture?

Glad you asked! Check out our company values below. If these resonate with you, you’ll fit right in!

Be ferociously curious.

Be an active participant in expanding your understanding of the world around you. Learning is part of the job. So practice ferocious curiosity. If a problem is important, don’t settle for a surface-level understanding of it. Go dig. Seek out new information. Pressure your assumptions. And when you feel you truly understand something, start trying to prove yourself wrong. Truth-seeking never stops. We all have a responsibility to continually expand our knowledge.

Be proactively transparent.

Transparency breeds trust and empowers good decision-making. Communication solves all problems. So share what you know, encourage others to do the same, and speak your mind early and often. There is no monopoly on good ideas; everyone’s perspective is valuable. Spread your ideas. Give and receive feedback readily and respectfully.

Be tenacious.

We are working on important and complex challenges; difficulty is inevitable. Persevere. The more important the problem or opportunity, the more we can justify working through the challenges. If we struggle with it, then so does the competition. Tackling difficulty is how we differentiate.

Take action, thoughtfully.

Being decisive is the only way to accomplish our goals. But remember, attention is our most precious resource, so choose your actions wisely. Take the time needed to make sure you really understand the problem. Source your conviction. Measure twice, then cut confidently.

Own the Experience

All of your actions, big and small, directly impact the people you engage with, so be mindful of the experience you are creating for others. Take responsibility for creating great outcomes. Be helpful. Communicate clearly. Practice empathy. Go above and beyond to make someone’s next step a little easier. We’re all in this together.

Embrace Mistakes

We all make mistakes. Embrace them. Accept responsibility, learn, and share your new knowledge so others can learn, too. Mistakes are an inevitable byproduct of growth; so get out of your comfort zone. Fail fast and fail forward.

Practice EQ, not Just IQ

Healthy relationships are paramount to highly productive teams. So practice EQ, not just IQ. Put empathy first. Learn to recognize and control your own emotions, especially when navigating difficult situations. Being smart isn’t enough; we have to be emotionally tuned in as well. Remember, no one wants to work with the brilliant jerk.

Put the Partner First

The most important thing in business is to know who our customer is and what problems they need us to solve. So make the effort to understand the world from our partner’s perspective. Spend time understanding them. Build empathy. Use their challenges and feedback as your North Star. Then work relentlessly to better serve them; we are in the business of making their lives better.
