ONGUARD INC provides Armed and Unarmed Security Guard and Patrol services in Southern California. Onguard Security is based in Canoga Park. We are actively recruiting to fill a position on our Inside Sales Team with an experienced sales professional. The position is based in our Canoga Park office. The sales representative will be doing door-to-door sales, attending appointments from the sales team, attending inbound/outbound meetings, and understanding security guard services. Applicant must possess strong negotiation skills, and have a passion for security service sales.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in service sales
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent computer skills (email, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Expertise in customer relationships, conflict resolution, negotiation, and customer service
• Excellent persuasion skills
• High level of work ethic and attendance
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, proof of insurance

Job Duties:

• Cold-call prospects generated by external sources of leads
• Conduct outbound calls to potential customers to drive sales
• Identify market trends and opportunities for growth
• Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
• Identify decision-makers within targeted leads to begin the sales process
• Penetrate all targeted accounts
• Collaborate with Account Executives and owners to determine necessary sales strategies
• Cultivate new leads through referrals, company-provided leads, past customers, and cold calling
• Maintain and expand the company’s CRM database of customers and prospects
• Support marketing efforts such as trade shows and other events
• Make outbound follow-up calls via telephone and emails, and direct mailing
• Attend sales meetings in person and training sessions as directed by management
• Prepare post orders for new clients
• Conduct quality face-to-face sales presentations to new customers
• Meet potential clients throughout Southern California
• Generate leads through prospecting and building a consistent pipeline to meet sales goals for new business
• Generate and develop new client accounts to increase revenue

Education:

High School Graduate (required)

Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.91 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
