This is a Contract to Hire position for a Machine Operator with an hourly rate of $22-24/hr in Hutto, TX. The work schedule is Monday - Friday, 7AM to 3:30PM.

What you'll do as: Machine Operator

• Operate, maintain, and repair FrameCAD roll-form machines.
• Maintain a clean work area and protect structures or surfaces near work areas to avoid damage.
• Lift, push, and pull the assembled wall panels off the machine or onto the outbound rollers to the sheathing station.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and logistics, to ensure smooth workflow and coordination.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize workplace accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Monitor tool use and storage by workers and organization/cleanliness.

The preferred candidate should have the following:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) (preferred) – must speak English fluently
• Prior knowledge/experience operating and maintaining FrameCAD roll-form machines.
• Prior knowledge/experience working as a mechanic, able to perform maintenance and repairs to machines as necessary.
• Knowledge and safe use of power tools, hand tools, and other equipment.
• Ability to communicate and report effectively.
• Ability to read and use measuring tools such as tape measure and framing square.
• Ability to work and communicate with others.
• Analyze information and evaluate problems.
• Willing to learn new processes and techniques.
• Ability to learn and follow our extensive company safety policy.
• Work safely with all members of the crew.
• Large industry machine operating / troubleshooting / maintenance experience
• Must pass pre-employment criminal background check
• Must pass pre-employment drug test
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
