TITLE: CAFETERIA ASSISTANT

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to deal with the staff, students and public in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Must be able to set up and remove the lunchroom tables.
• Must be able to sweep and mop the lunch area and halls.
• Must be able to supervise children.
• Must pass a physical examination given by an approved physician before starting work.

REPORTS TO: PRINCIPAL

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervision of students during lunch period.
• Set up and take down equipment.
• Assist with the maintenance and cleaning of the lunchroom and hallways.
• Assist with food serving and selling.
• Other duties as assigned by the building principal or his/her designee.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Days to be scheduled and terms per the master agreement.

The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substance abuse in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District.
