We’re looking to hire a Freelance Associate Visual Merchandising Designer for a global beauty brand to support the Global Visual Merchandising & Retail Experience Team.

• Location: Hybrid schedule on-site 3x per week (Tuesday-Thursday) in NYC.
• Length:6 months
• Dates: 8/16/24- 2/13/25 (covering a parental leave)
• Working Hours: Mon- Thurs 9-5:30pm with 30 minute for lunch
• Hourly Rate: $38hr.

Responsibilities:

• As a Freelance Designer, you will support the Team with creative needs, including window decals/table wraps, in-store graphics, 2D & 3D graphic design, technical drawings, and production-ready artwork.
• Work with internal teams such as Creative Operations, Image, Store Design.
• Present to leadership, take feedback and implement changes.
• Manage projects and their timelines.

Requirements:

• Experience in visual merchandising design; tester displays, gondola designs, display design, styling, events or related areas - preferably luxury beauty brands.
• Beauty experience is required.
• Proficient in 3D design programs (Rhino, Keyshot), Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
