We’re looking to hire a Freelance Brand Design Manager for a Personal Care Product Manufacturing client.

• You’ll join the Creative Brand Development Team to direct design for iconic products in Self Care & Pain categories.
• This is a 6 month opportunity with possible extension.
• The role is located in Skilllman, NJ and is hybrid onsite (flexible with schedule).
• CPG/Healthcare Industry Experience Required.
• Hourly Rate: $60hr.

Design Responsibilities:

• Lead design to ensure maximum design value-add in Self Care & Pain segments.
• Establish design best practices while supporting Creative Teams on execution of brand guidelines, retail, social, digital, packaging, print, UX/UI, industrial design.
• Manage team resources in collaboration with Team Project Manager optimizing working processes and efficiencies.
• Partner with Brand Strategy Director and other Design functions across all brand touchpoints to provide thought leadership ecommendations towards brand execution.
• Oversee agency executions and provide clear feedback/guidance.
• Match team members with appropriate design skill-sets.
• Manage outside Agency, 3 - 6 Designers and Project Manager(s) optimizing working processes and efficiencies.
• Interface with Sr. Management on creative project updates.

Requirements:

• Top 3 Skills: internal design function - client side preferred, brand design knowledge, management experience is required.
• Strong design portfolio including brand design work across multi-channels.
• Experience as a Manager or Lead within an Internal Design function.
• Excellent presentation skills to senior management, collaborative spirit with brand partners, comfortable leading meetings.
• Tools: Microsoft Outlook, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Mural, Wrike Project Management Software.
