Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re looking to hire a User Experience Designer for a Tech client.

This is a 6 month opportunity. The role is located in Seattle, and is hybrid with 3-4 days onsite weekly.

We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to play a crucial role in enhancing the usability of our products, elevating the team's standards and best practices, and serving as a role model for the team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment, contributing across all stages of the product lifecycle. This role will define the User Experience for Local Infrastructure and Managed Operations (LIMO). The successful candidate will excel at transforming complex, technical problems into intuitive solutions for both business and retail customers. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, product marketing, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate customer challenges and design delightful solutions that achieve measurable business goals.
• Collaborate closely with product teams to define use cases and overarching requirements.
• Advocate for strong design principles throughout the LIMO team, maintaining extremely high standards for quality.
• Establish, evolve, and promote LIMO’s design systems and visual language.
• Inform designs using market research, user feedback, analytics, and usability studies.
• Efficiently produce process flows, wireframes, and visual design prototypes to articulate nuanced interaction behaviors.
• Detail and maintain comprehensive user interface specifications.
• Present design concepts to UX teams, product stakeholders, and executives for feedback and review.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement designs, providing precise specifications and assets, and verifying final interfaces.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in UX, networking, on-prem infrastructure, and technology, incorporating them into our design processes.

Basic Qualifications:

• 7 years of design experience.
• An available online portfolio.
• Expertise in best practices for User Interface Design, Information Architecture, and Interaction Design.
• Experience in life cycle design projects from strategy through execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience providing and effectively communicating strategic and tactical recommendations based on data.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Axure, Keynote, and InVision.
• Experience designing for enterprise networking and infrastructure services.
