Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees and visitors. Duties:

- Patrol the premises to detect and prevent any potential security breaches or incidents.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and respond to any alarms or alerts.
- Conduct regular checks on doors, windows, and other entry points to ensure they are secure.
- Provide first aid and CPR as needed, and assist in emergency situations.
- Collaborate with law enforcement to report any suspicious activity and maintain open lines of communication.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to prevent theft and protect company assets.
- Manage conflicts and de-escalate situations to prevent escalation.
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents, including investigations and reports.
- Perform other security-related tasks as required.

Experience:

- Prior experience in security or law enforcement is highly desirable.
- Candidates should have a certificate in first aid and CPR.
- Experience in surveillance and loss prevention is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly to emergency situations.
- Must be able to maintain a high level of physical fitness and work in a variety of weather conditions.
- Certification in conflict management is preferred.

Skills:

- Strong surveillance and monitoring skills.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and their applications.
- Experience in loss prevention and asset protection.
- Proficiency in conflict management and resolution.
- Possess a certificate in first aid and CPR.
- Familiarity with law enforcement procedures and protocols.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
