**Description**

The Commercial Sales Representative is OPC's Ambassador to prospective new clients. The ideal candidates will be responsible for strategic development and growth of profitable existing customer relationships with a focus on retaining and selling new customers to ensure continued growth of the Company's Commercial Division.

**The Successful Outside Sales Representative Will . . .**

* Have a minimum of 5 years experience in sales or customer service

* Be able to prove past success in sales

* Have a valid drivers license

* Have experience in all facets of the sales cycle including hunting for, finding and closing new business

* Have a willingness to hunt for new sales

* Have excellent organizational skills

* Be comfortable challenging, confronting and asking difficult questions

* Have experience selling a conceptual service (such as coaching, training, and consulting) is preferred, but not required

* Have a high desire, commitment, motivation, and goal orientation

* Always maintain a professional and courteous image

* Have a high school diploma or G.E.D.

* Display high levels of personal and professional responsibilities and be able to quickly internalize coaching and training

* Possess both the skill to work within a team as well as independently

* Be comfortable with being held accountable to prospecting metrics and various sales related key performance indicators

* Demonstrate the ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas

**Requirements:**

We require a good driving record and the ability to pass a drug screen. Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the following job duties with or without accommodations as well as the ability to obtain the pesticide license through the Kentucky Department of Agriculture within the first 90 days of employment (company paid):

* Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity

* Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

* Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc.

* Ability to kneel, crawl, bend, squat, reach and squeeze with both hands

* Ability to work in all types of weather conditions

**Required**

**Experience**

**2 years:** Commissioned sales experience required

**Less than 1 year:** Experience and/or the ability to work in the field independently

**Less than 1 year:** Experience working with B2B clients preferred but not required

**Less than 1 year:** Experience and/or the ability to manage territory-based assignments
