Data Entry Specialist - Production and Inventory Tracking

Job Summary
The Data Entry Specialist - Production and Inventory Tracking is responsible for entering data related to production of bulk cannabinoid ingredients into the company's enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and regularly ensuring the accuracy of the resulting inventory figures. Experience with ERP systems for production and inventory management is required. Strong initiative, attention to detail, speed of data entry, communication skills, as well as strict adherence to local, state and federal regulations are critical to this role. This position reports to the Chief Information Officer and also works closely with the Director of Operations - Bulk Ingredients and the Controller.
Responsibilities

• Work with ingredient manufacturing and ERP teams to translate production records into material consumption and production in ERP
• Communicate with ingredient manufacturing and ERP teams to resolve any ambiguities in production records
• Physically verify inventory in the building against ERP digital inventory on a no-less-than weekly basis
• Report basic production statistics on a regular basis to a broader company audience
• Support ingredient manufacturing, quality, and ERP teams to ensure consistent labeling of bulk ingredient inputs and outputs
• Collaborate with other teams affected by bulk ingredient production detail, including but not limited to quality, fulfillment, purchasing, receiving, and finance
• Participate in monthly company inventory counts
• Support training of other employees as needed in ERP topics and help troubleshoot associated challenges
• Support roll-out of related ERP functionality
• Be willing and able to support team with ERP-adjacent systems

Skills & Abilities

• Excellent computer literacy skills and proficiency in Acumatica (or similar ERP software) and Google Workspace
• Capable of entering substantial data quickly with high accuracy
• Attention to detail, and a natural problem solver.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in related fields desired.
• 2 years of related experience required.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, supply chain management or a related field is a plus.

Additional Details

• This is a full-time position based out of Roxboro, NC
• Flexibility to work days/evenings/weekends depending on needs

Physical Demands and Working Environment

• May be required to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 30 pounds
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions
• May experience moderately high noise levels
