We are seeking a Software Engineer comfortable working with languages/technologies such as Vue, React, Rust, C , Go, Kubernetes, Docker, or the like within a Distributed IoT environment. Responsibilities: Develop high-quality software design and architecture Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development lifecycle Review and debug code Comfortability with developing moderate to complex components and integrate them into larger, existing solutions Perform validation and verification testing Collaborate with the team with well communicated and documented processes Document development phases and monitor systems Ensure software is meeting best practices and technology choices Education / Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering Minimum of 10 years' experience in software development Minimum of 7 years' experience with user interface development and frontend tech stack (preferably Vue) Required experience in containerization and distributed systems such as cloud services and architectures and containerized deployments. Experience with UX design preferred. Experience with publish / subscribe architectures such as NATS, DDS, or MQTT Involvement in Open-Source projects is a plus Demonstrates agility with applying multiple programming languages and technical stacks. Ability to achieve high-level of productivity in a distributed/remote working environment Ability to project professionalism both internally with co-workers and externally with customers & possibly investors. Experience with or in the electric power industry, distribution / transmission systems, Distributed Energy Resources, and/or microgrids is a plus. Compensation Variable Depending On Experience.
