Open Heartz Child Care and Learning Center is Hiring a Child Care Worker Near Gary, IN

We are looking for a patient, attentive daycare worker to care for children. Supervise and monitor the safety of children in their care. Prepare meals and organize meal times and snacks for children. Help child keep good hygiene. Change the diapers of infants and toddlers. Introduce babies and toddlers to basic concepts. Childcare worker will also help preschool-age children prepare for kindergarten. Develop schedules and routines to ensure that children have enough physical activity, rest and playtime. Assist school-age children with homework. Work with parents to ensure that children are learning and socializing in a positive way. Childcare worker also has to keep facility sanitized and clean. They may also assist in sterilizing toys and play area and other duties to ensure that the children are in a safe engaging and clean environment.
