Join the Maglio Companies team as a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician.
Responsibilities:
- Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
- Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
- Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
- Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
- Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
- Repairs or replaces defective parts.
- Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
- Lubricates and cleans parts.
- Starts devices to test their performance.
- Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
- Programs PLC's.
- Initiates purchase order for parts and machines.
- Repairs electrical equipment.
- Performs maintenance on production and office areas.
- Perform building upkeep tasks that include but are no limited too painting, sanitation, grounds keeping.
- Follows and ensures good manufacturing practices at all times
- Follows and adheres to the company's safety program
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance experience to include all phases of preventive and corrective maintenance, including industrial and/or commercial facilities maintenance is required.
- PLC programming experience.
- Basic computer skills.
