Openwork is assisting our downtown Austin client in their search for an Accountant for their finance division. This temporary role will start in mid-December and is projected to last through the end of March 2024.
In This Role, You'll

• Assist with daily and monthly reconciliation of investment transactions.
• Work between the subsidiary ledger and the custodian ledgers.
• Classify and record cash receipts into the general ledger.
• Prepare the daily deposit.

Qualifications

• 4 yr degree in accounting, finance, or a business-related field (experience may substitute).
• 5 yrs of experience with responsible and progressive accounting, financial analysis, or related fields including experience in an automated accounting system.
• Experience in reconciling and investment accounting is preferred.

This is an ONSITE job in downtown Austin, 8 to 5 Monday through Friday.
